Classic Kiwi Rocking Horses
Classic Kiwi Products hand carve rocking horses and rocking chairs at their workshop/showroom on Kapiro Rd, Kerikeri. Each rocking horse is individually created from laminated timber. Tthe laminated construction method means there is no single grain direction which produces a stronger and more durable rocking horse. They are completed with horse hair manes and tails, real leather saddles and bridles and a brass plaque with the horses name.
The rocking chairs are custom built to the customers requirements with a choice of colours, finishes and styles. While our wooden rocking horses and rocking chairs are primarily designed to be used, the quality workmanship means they are also a wonderful piece of art for display. They provide a long lasting companion to be passed down through future generations. We also make rocking dragons and lions, wooden hobby horses, pull along toys for children, renovate old wooden horses and sell a range of parts and accessories for rocking horses. Our rocking horses and rocking chairs are usually handcrafted to order, although we do hold some stock for people in a hurry. They can be viewed at our showroom in Kapiro Rd.
