Aroha Island Ecocentre

Aroha Island is a small island at Rangitane about 12km from the town of Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands in Northland, New Zealand.
Aroha Island is owned by the Queen Elizabeth II National Trust and is managed by the Aroha Island Charitable Trust and a large number of community volunteers. It is an important habitat for the North Island Brown Kiwi. Aroha Island is linked to the mainland via a causeway and is open to both day visitors and holiday makers looking for longer term eco based accommodation.
